Bryant Goldsmith began his racing career at 11 competing in go-carts. He had a successful career in carts, traveling throughout the Midwest winning an IKF National Championship on Asphalt and one on Dirt.
At the age of 16 Goldsmith made the move from Go-Carts to the Super Dirt Late model division. In 2005 and 2006 seasons Goldsmith competed at two different track in the NASCAR Whelen All–American Weekly Racing series.
In 2006 Goldsmith scored 4 wins, 23 Top 5’s, 30 Top 10’s in 33 starts. Finished 3rd in points at the Adams County Speedway and was crowned the 2006 Track Champion at the I-80 Speedway, beating out NASCAR’s Division II Champion Joe Kosiski. Also, in 2006, Goldsmith made his first start and had a
successful debut in the ASA Late model Challenge Series at the Iowa Speedway.
In 2007 climbed out of his dirt late model and made his debut in a ASA asphalt late model. In his 5 starts he made 4 races and finished every race and scored one top 10. Bryant still competed in 15 dirt races where finished with one win and 8 top fives and 12top tens.
In 2008 committed to the NCRA, MLRA and other major touring dirt late model series. In his first full season he started 33 races, scored 8 top 5’s and 21 Top 10’s. Bryant finished 5th in points in the OReilly NCRA Series behind, Kelly Boen, Kyle Berck, Delbert Smith and John Anderson. In the MLRA Series Bryant end the season with a 13th finish in the standings. |
